What is abundance? Actually, it is a state of mind. But it one that has many mental and emotional, physical and spiritual returns in your life. To develop abundance, you must start internally, not externally, with truthful, self-examination so you can restore your life and invite great opportunities, situations, and people into your life. It’s definitely not always easy, but the rewards are tremendous.
Being continually dissatisfied with any area of life is one indication of the lack of abundance. Abundance does not necessarily mean material possessions. Even those of great material wealth suffer in misery without the ability to enjoy their life. Wealth is not an abundant life. Many wealthy, lonely hermits lack warm relationships. Actually, there is a multitude of well to do individuals suffer from anxiety, depression and dissatisfaction.
In order to develop abundance you have to change your approach to life. It’s all about considering things in a different way. It’s about learning to look at everything in a much more positive light, about seeing the good rather than the bad. If you sense the opportunities that abound in all situations, then you have it within yourself to change your life and to find abundance.
While all of us live on the same abundant plant, not all of us experience abundance in the same way. A critical stage to attract and experience more abundance is to become receptive to it. Old problems and issues from their past often stop goodness and abundance from coming to many people. Negative feelings and attitudes like shame, guilt, anger, anxiety, and hatred are so overwhelming that they can’t even see the goodness around them, and they block abundance from coming their way.
You should be ready and willing to overcome any personal demons when you are serious about developing abundance. Unfortunately, victims often continue life as victims. The negative trauma and events that they experience causes them to become stuck in the cycle. Living an abundant life includes the ability to let go of past insults and injuries.
Developing abundance goes hand in hand with positive self-improvement. Your journey to abundance involves taking an honest look at your life, evaluating your belief system and taking note of any recurring thought patterns. After honestly considering these things, you are now in a position to set your personal development and goals for healing that will encourage your ability to experience an abundant life.
Change is never easy. But in today’s modern society there are many ways that help can be gained. Things like CBT (cognitive behavior therapy), applied kinesiology and EFT are all methods currently being exploited by people in various walks of life. The essential basic to being able to develop abundance in your life is being determined to do so and to persevere.
But changing the inner person is in itself not enough. We have to see and shape the things that are going on around us. We need to be positive and develop a plan for progressing with our move from where we are now into a position of abundance.
To create abundance in your life, you must combine introspective, personal work with visible action. Some people are great about goal setting and achievement, but they don’t live according to their core values and beliefs, so they never achieve abundance. Sometimes, the beliefs or values they hold are not conducive to a life of harmony. For real abundance to come into your life, your life and how you live it needs to be consistent with your values and beliefs.
Developing abundance in your life will enrich not only your life, but the lives of others as well. In developing abundance we grow our appreciation of everything and everyone around us. We become part of the abundance of our universe and enable others to start their own journey on the road to an abundant life.
